Its been two years when I wrote my first teeny-poppy song which is until now doesn't have a title. That was my first material I recorded using Audacity, its a pretty cool software, multitrack recording, altering songs and backmasking. On what I remember, it was midnight when I recorded the song. When I started to press the record button, I immediately strum, C Major, I put a beat using Cajon and sang the song. Something's missing so I put some back up vox and *poof!* my first recorded song. It was awsome that in that night I used to be a composer, the artist, and the arranger and the producer (haha!). But that is only the B Side of the story. After that single song, I send the material to Jake, my friend, and asked what do he thinks about it. I really dont remember what he said but I think he was amazed. He was too amazed that he setup his bass guitar, putting bass lines in it. He even promoted it and I was embarrased, maybe it's just I'm not yet ready to share it. He named the song Tagalog which I really dislikes, but I used to. Sadly, I don't have a copy of it anymore, a sentimental and priceless song for me. Jake uploaded it at Imeem and put it on his Multiply account, he really wants to promote the song. :D
That song follows my crappy english material (which I later revised) and the must-to-be psychedelic inspired song titled Wonderful were the only songs I shared. But I must to admit, I have plenty of them, though some of them were forgotten.Cause I don't read or write notes, but I'm willing to learn, and it is hard for me to remember the songs mumbling in my head. The only thing I would remember them is to be LSS with it. The other way to remember them is to record it. But I wish I can write it.
I'm not really hoping that my songs would be heard by the whole archipelago, I just want to enjoy myself making music, it's like I'm expressing myself through music and can't live without it, cause music is life. Don't really care if I rock or not, if you like it get it, if you don't leave it. But if opportunity comes, no hesitation, I'll grab it. I just need a band member =P
Time will come my friend
That all the things you have will walk away
And those things you said
Will be forever lasted whether good or evil
And so my friend
Come closer to me and
Wake up and you'll see
You are dreaming, you are floating
You started to scream so loud
Drunk from morning till night
Wearing a shirt that made you proud
Expect that the world would be bright
Itanong mo sa Google

Eraserheads: The Final Set
Syempre walang sasalo sakin kaya wag nalang

Powerpuff Girls meets The Beatles
...or the Beat-Alls, whatever.
Before I sleep, about 1 am, I do watch the Powerpuff Girls to reminisce my childhood days. There are other cartoons besides the Powerpuffs I would love to watch with, Dexter's Lab, Cow and Chicken on Cartoon Network and Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy on Nick, also includes Kenan and Kel and All That but anyway we're talking about cartoons. OK Lets go back, I was watching Powerpuff, it was like my midnight habbit haha, I actually don't know what's the episode is all about because I did'nt saw the start of the episode. The only time I got it's attention when Mojo Jojo, Him, Princess and the Banjo guy (ok I'm searching his name and his name is Fuzzy) called themselves as The Beatles, I only realized that it was The Beat- Alls. Interesting and funny, I thought Powerpuff is for kids and what the heck? The Beatles? FOR KIDS? Haha, the writer of this episode was probably influenced by The Beatles. The episode contains several references to The Beatles, for example
-crossing the Abbey Road,
-parodied the covers of A Hard Days Night, Please Please Me and With/Meet the Beatles -dialogues containing The Beatles lyrics
-the name of the policeman of Townsville is Sgt Pepper who looks like Seaman Fred on Yellow Submarine Film
-Mojo Jojo met a Japanese monkey named Moko Ono, the background music sounds just like the intro for Strawberry Fields Forever, and later found out that her name is Michelle.
-Powerpuff Girls called Judith from the Zoo as Hey Jude!
-Bed in for peace was parodied
-When Mojo starts to scream loudly, citizen of townsville all holding up their hands to their ears. The Beatles' cartoon guises were also shown.
Here is cap from the episode. I cant find the whole episode in YouTube. I'll try to search it on Mininova.
